Valentine FONTAINE

Graduated with a master’s degree in Art, I mostly work with space and moving images: film, experimental video and art installations, photography, set design. I recently worked for an artisctic organisation for 6 months during which I made several creative shortfilms, and gain new organisational and social skills.

I believe in interdisciplinary arts and collaboration, and what interest me is designing the possible dialogues between different fields. In particular, mixing video projection with performance or site-specific installation. Dance practice have nurtured my sensibility to body presence and choreography. Object-led and experimental theatre are other fields of interest.

I benefit from varied work experiences, that results in a strong adaptability and many transferable skills (stagehand experience on film, creative workshops, performance sets, lighting, design, organisation). I rely as well on good analytical and thinking skills, a critical eye of the work and experience in any type of creative process.
