Malgorzata Cohen
Director
I am a freelance director, educator, mentor, tutor, writer, actor who has 5 years experience staging 4 star immersive and site-specific productions in theatres in London. Since founding UWAGA! Theatre Company in 2015 I have been producing, directing, training and leading actors in ensemble performances of plays from a repertoire of The Theatre of the Absurd.
My interests lie in devising for stage, work and practises of Michael Chekhov and Tadeusz Kantor, using stream of consciousness and confessional poetry as a devising tool in creating performances.
I see theatre as a laboratory of ideas, a space to engage in a dialogue with the audience to confront, provoke and challenge.
