I have been producing theatre productions for the last 5 years and more recently I have started to produce film content. Initially, I entered the entertainment industry as an actor, training at first the Birmingham School of Acting and then The Oxford School of Drama. Upon graduating in 2015 I founded the theatre company Wildcard Theatre Company Ltd and it was from this point I moved into producing productions and managing the organisation as a whole. Over the following 5 years I produced 11 theatre productions and events for Wildcard, the most notable being the award-winning gig-theatre production ‘Electrolyte’. This particular show premiered at the Edinburgh Festival in 2018, toured for 10 weeks nationally and then returned to the Edinburgh Festival in 2019. The budgets for these ventures ranged from £50,000 to £200,000. My success and hard-work has enabled Wildcard to gain not only critical acclaim but a diverse and sustainable income stream, warranting me the company’s CEO. Recently, in the last 12 months I have turned my producing skills to a different medium, film, and have proactively educated myself with a financing workshop from NFTS before making the transition completely. In 2020 I produced two short films and have a short film and feature film in development.
