He/Him.
Howdy! I'm a multi-award-winning working-class Playwright, Facilitator and Creative Producer interested in multi-disciplinary work which explores mis-represented individuals and communities through experimental form. I'm also a poet with a string of published poems under my belt, as well as visual commissions and collaborative projects.
In 2020, I graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School’s MA Dramatic Writing (without doing an undergrad...sorry!) and recently completed my tenure as one of the Oxford Playhouse Playmakers. I’m an alumnus of Soho Theatre, HighTide Theatre and Papatango’s respective playwright development schemes which have been incredibly valuable to me in widening my network with diverse and wonderful creatives whilst honing my voice, style and belief system as a writer. Additionally, I’m the Artistic Director of multi-arts company ChewBoy Productions.
For the past 7 years, I've worked in the theatre industry at venues such as Chichester Festival Theatre, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre and London Playwrights Workshop where I have worked in a variety of roles ranging from workshop facilitation, marketing, dramaturgy and project management. In the midst of this, I have maintained a steady career as a Producer and Playwright; managing my own award-winning production company (ChewBoy Productions) as well as developing my own and others' work.
I have a vested interest in accessibility, and creating a fairer arts landscape for all. One we can all be proud of. One that represents, challenges and interrogates the ecology of Britain and beyond.
