Beth Wilson
Director
Theatre Maker
She/Her
Beth Wilson is a young, female, queer director working in new writing and devised work, giving collaborators a space to tell stories based on their own experiences. She founded and directed at Theatre of Minds, a company of young people creating work raising funds and awareness for the charity Young Minds, and has since trained at LAMDA.
After graduating in 2020, she has directed on several work in progress pieces and new writing projects, creating collaborative, generous spaces where artists have felt able to share their personal stories. She has consistently sought out and initiated projects allowing her to explore female strength, the transitions young people face and queer experiences navigating the chaos.
Her background in Mathematics brings with it an enthusiasm for non-traditional forms and structures; both within the process of making and in the end product on stage. Beth is always looking to connect with innovative creatives hoping to work with a fluid hierarchy and create a nurturing, ambitious environment within which to develop a inventive, new storytelling.
