A Director and Scenographer with experience in design and prop making and background in theatre and cinema makeup.
Performance background in classical, modern ballet and latin dance.
I experiment and create ways to solicit a more active audience response. It’s rooted in immediate connection in shared space and time (and how to compensate for it now). I devise immersive experiences, improvisatory performance and curate participatory installation-based work. Dynamism and totality in the operation of the space is at the crux of my practice.
I focus on both extremities: autonomous material performance in curation and human-centric space operation for set designs. More recently, I’ve investigated presence as performance, I play with the scope of agency and out of reach dreams in clown sketches. I look forward to embark on projects that facilitate my passion for interaction with the audience, and to explore new ways to develop the practice in emerging contexts.
