she/her

I’m a theatre designer currently based between London and Poland. Before completing theatre design course in the UK, I trained in fine arts at the Leon Wyczólkowski State School of Art in Bydgoszcz.

In 2017 I’ve been announced the Overall Winner of the Linbury Prize for Stage Design with the winning design for Lyric Hammersmith’s production of othellomacbeth, which opened at HOME Manchester following year and then transferred to the Lyric.

I’ve always believed that theatre is a social sculpture and it has the power to transform the society. It should always be a discussion and the audience should always be treated as partners not spectators.

I’m constantly interested in projects that challenge visual dramaturgy and allow me to develop ideas, layers, landscapes and spaces.

I’m keen on working with everyone on the team from the beginning of the process. I believe that we’re so much better together. With different interpretations and backgrounds we can create something truly meaningful and beautiful while honouring our idiosyncrasies.
