Director Assistant Director

I'm a freelance director of theatre, musical theatre, and opera originally from the US (I have bases in New York and New Orleans) and I'm ecstatic to have secured a Global Talent Visa for Exceptional Promise in Directing from the Arts Council.

In addition to freelancing, I co-AD my own company, Nothing to Perform (www.nothingtoperform.com), which produces new work, sources talent for The London Film School and Central Film School, and offers free monthly workshops for creatives called "networkshops". This means I am constantly in the practice of facilitating and am comfortable leading workshops of all kinds.

My experience in arts admin on and off Broadway paired with my undergrad training as a Musial Theatre performer (NYU Tisch '15) are part of what make me a well-rounded and empathetic addition to any creative team.

I now focus on directing new work/adaptations, facilitating artist-led devising, collaborating with playwrights, and assisting. I'm also a Jette Parker Artist at the Royal Opera House where I assist on and direct opera part-time.
