Oliver Maddigan

Director

My name is Oliver Maddigan. My preferred Pronoun is Male/he.

My whole life I have had an Indescribable Fascination for theatre. From watching pantos in primary school to finally saving up enough money to see my first ever west end show, the theatre has always played a significant role in my life.

Theatre has always been by my side. Whether it’s reading Shakespeare on a rainy day or, allowing the theatre to help you through your hardest times, theatre is always there for me. And now I would like to be there for it. My dream is to write and direct theatre for the rest of my life. Whether it is physical theatre, naturalism, contemporary theatre, politically charged theatre, or just theatre with the means to help the audience to escape from their world into another for 2 and a half hours. All theatre is important! All theatre effects, breaks, and mends! And I must continue to be a part of it.
