Why do we make theatre it if not to surprise, challenge or blow our audiences mind? Sometimes that is through the simplest idea, a signal prop, an unheard story or a pink tent hanging in a tree with a cinema inside that somehow transports you back to childhood. I'm at the beginning of my career so I'm excited by lots of theatre, but I particularly enjoy intimate pieces which really connect with the audiences spatially as well as emotionally. I'm excited by theatre that uses unusual spaces, explores forgotten stories or takes classical texts where they never thought they'd go.

Graduating into the 2020 world of Covid and confusion, I'm a flexible designer, prepared to delve into more unusual ideas and show the world that theatre is not always what we expect. I love working collaboratively with a company through conceptual dreaming to rehearsals and performance, valuing the sharing of all our unique experiences.
