Jack Harrold

Director

I'm Jack Harrold (my pronouns are he/him) and I'm a queer actor/creative hoping to devise and direct theatre work (whenever it gets back up and running!). I'm interested in making original work centred around LGBTQ+ identity and what that actually means today. I also really love adapting novels for the stage, devising the script in a rehearsal room and keeping the work playful and inventive. I would love to adapt classic/period novels in a more diverse and inclusive way to how they have been traditionally staged. I trained on a course in partnership with Complicite and I am firm believer in their ensemble based principles of working.
