Caitlin Evans
Director
Caitlin is a theatre director and producer from Newcastle currently based in London. Her practice is grounded in collaborative, devised performance on socio-political issues in the UK. Graduate of MFA Advanced Theatre Practice from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, she launched SHYBAIRN theatre company in 2019, devising live performance for social change. SHYBAIRN's debut show 'Talk Propa' was recipient of The CULTIVATE Bursary in Association with COMMON & The Newbury Corn Exchange at VAULT Festival 2020 and shortlisted for The Untapped Award and the Les Infant Terribles award for Edinburgh Fringe 2020. Caitlin is particularly interested in womxn-led work and performance supporting working-class artists.
