Nyokabi Macharia

Director

I am an actor, dancer and singer currently training for an MA in Music Theatre at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I have 4 years of professional experience as a performer in the Kenyan entertainment scene. I have experience both on TV and on stage. I am currently directing my final school project which is an adaptation of a scene of Frankenstein which I am looking to develop further after I finish my program. The adaptation is set in Nairobi, Kenya. Looking to finish the project by end of August and looking to pitch to possible collaborators to develop the piece further. I enjoy abstract work, love to experiment with movement and song to replace dialogue and enjoy devising both as an actor and as a director. My pronouns are she/her/hers.
