I am a female director (she/her) based in Birmingham but from South East London. I work at the Birmingham REP and direct the Young Adult Company. I also work as a drama practitioner for the REP in schools and community settings and lead the playwriting courses, having some experience as a writer. I have previously worked as a freelance director and actor in theatres, prisons and informal settings. I am particularly interested in working on community projects, site-specific pieces and working with casts of young people. I have a background in competitive sport and I am currently interested in theatre exploring women in sport. I am very interested to hear from anyone with this specific interest.
