I’m a socially engaged multi-platform Theatre Maker. I’m currently an Associate Artist at The Point. My work weaves surprising and unexpected art forms together to reflect unspoken aspects of who we are. My latest collaborative project, ‘Spillage’ explores the relationship between work, stress and play, and was part of Make it SO 2019 at NST. “A terrifically original play that spirals a simple coffee spillage into a part clown, part poetry, part puppetry stream of consciousness." - Sam Hodges, Director NST . My work celebrates and excavates the extraordinary from beneath the ordinary, and draws on devised, verbatim and autobiographical approaches, inspired by The Paper Birds, Bryony Kimmings, and This Egg. At the moment I’m developing my first solo autobiographical show, ‘Kindred’ with funding from The Arts Council and Hampshire Archives Trust. I’m on the regional JMK Mentored Directors scheme. I’m also working with Arts at the University of Southampton on their Creative 'Connecting Culture' Consultation, using drama & theatre to find out how young people relate to the new cultural quarter in the city.
