Miles (he/him) is a Cornish writer, actor & producer represented by Jenn Morgan at Curtis Brown. Recently, he has worked on two original projects for The BFI’s Young Audiences Content Fund, which saw him run writers’ rooms for both before completing script & show bible commissions. He is also working with BAFTA & Emmy award-winning Producer, Phillippa Giles on ‘At Risk’ - a 6-part Cornish drama currently in development with The BBC. Previously, Miles has been selected for talent schemes with BBC Writersroom & BFI Network and is currently part of the inaugural Channel 4 TV Drama New Writers Scheme (West & South West) & BAFTA Connect. In 2021, he was selected from the BBC Writersroom groups to be commissioned for BBC Radio 3’s The Verb and his audio drama ‘Fisherman’s Elegy’ was broadcast in July of that year. Later that year he was selected as one of twelve filmmakers for BFI NETWORK@LFF. In 2019, Miles was commissioned as a BBC New Creative for his short film Anoraks which he produced and co-wrote. Anoraks is currently on iPlayer and was selected for LOCO Festival at The BFI & LFF For Free.
Miles also works as Programming Producer for The Mono Box, having co-produced RESET THE STAGE and leading on projects such as Creative Exchange at The Kiln Theatre.
