Claire Coache

I'm Claire. I make devised, visual physical theatre with new writing and run theatre company Open Sky based in rural Herefordshire. My work usually starts from a real story. I'm always striving to capture how life feels and that often veers into a magical realism. Images and movement are my mediums which is why I consistently work with writer Lisle Turner when creating. I'm a working mum. I originally trained at Ecole Lecoq in Paris and was a finalist for the 2008 Samuel Beckett award. I was previously Co-Artistic Director of RedCape Theatre and worked with Jammy Voo and Limbik Theatre.
