Ryan Wilce

Director

Ryan is a Theatre Maker and Director based in Plymouth. He is a practitioner for the Theatre Royal Plymouth and has directed and been assistant director a number of their shows Engagement and Learning productions. Ryan also creates his own work with young people and professional actors for theatres across the South-West, more recently expanding his network of theatres across the UK. Ryan specialises in directing new writing. As a working-class artist he likes to create engaging, exciting and fast paced stories around class and the barriers surrounding young people in those situations. Ryan is also the Artistic Director of 'Animate Theatre Co.' a touring company that is made of adults with varying physical and cognitive disabilities.
