I am an early-career, working-class theatre director with a particular interest in contemporary work. I believe that theatre can enrich and alter the courses of lives and communities, and that art is for everybody.
In Jan 2020, supported by ACE, I launched Broken Biscuits, a new Manchester-based theatre company committed to championing working class artists. Our debut production "Welcome to Shangri-La" by Gemma Langford played at Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester for a two week run in February 2020.
