I am an award winning Norwegian clown, theatre maker and director based in London. I was selected for the SOHO Theatre Drag & Cabaret Labs and have a BA in Drama & Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths University 2019.
My work revolves around my own experience as a woman living with cognitional heart disease. The stage provides me an unregulated space to be ugly, to not appease or conform to society’s misogynistic ideals of beauty. Clowning is my form of protest.
I am fascinated by clowning - how it provides space & freedom to explore/challenge the audience's preconceptions. I love using comedy & audience interaction as toolsto subvert. Through my work I aim to unveil the complexity of the modern world through drawing attention to its inherent ridiculousness & promote the underrepresented art form of clowning.
