María Cuervo (she/her)

María Cuervo is an award-winning multidisciplinary producer, actor, Bullerengue dancer, poet and events host. Her producing work spans from new writing to circus and immersive theatre, particularly made by underrepresented creatives in the industry.

Highly experienced in small-mid scale live events, theatre, and multidisciplinary performances. Pushing the boundaries between the performance and audience interaction, magic and realism, María loves creating remarkable experiences for audiences and artists alike.

In recent years, she has worked with recognised theatres and companies like the Young Vic, LIFT Festival, Theatre Peckham, Certain Blacks, Upswing Aerial and Maya Productions. Her previous producing work includes the 5-star endurance performance The Second Woman starring Ruth Wilson and the award-nominated Latin American interactive musical Súper Chefs.

Previous producing work includes SpaceJunk (Jacksons Lane 2024), English Kings Killing Foreigners (Camden People's Theatre 2024), I Love You Now What? (The Pleasance & Edinburgh 2023), 1797: The Mariner's Revenge (Old Royal Naval College 2022), Kelab Malam (Rich Mix 2021), Trojana Webcamming Chronicles (Voila!
