John Livesey
Director
Dramaturg
John (he/him) is a theatre-maker based in London.
I am interested in new writing, and make work that is visually bold, atmospheric and formally experimental. I am particularly inspired by contemporary European theatre practices and love working with video design and projection.
In 2024, I was invited to the Deutsches Theater in Berlin as a resident artist. I have also taken part in the StoneCrabs Young Director programme, the North Wall Catalyst Residency, and the Punchdrunk Young Talent Network.
Currently working on TENDING, a verbatim show about professionals in the NHS, which will be heading to Edinburgh Fringe and Brixton House Housmates festival.
Also completing a LAHP-funded PhD at UCL
