Charles Douglas
Director
My name is Charles Douglas, he/him pronouns. I am a freelance theatre director formerly based in Norfolk, now based in London. I am passionate about creative writing and contemporary plays that offer up a political message to an audience through a blend of emotionally engaging naturalism and intellectually stimulating abstract performances. I find influence from the works of Mike Alfreds, Anne Bogart, Sanford Meisner and Jerzy Grotowski, all of whom I try to touch upon in my rehearsal process. Looking for Assistant Director work, however am open to any and all opportunities.
