I am a director working in new plays, Shakespeare, musical theatre, opera and adaptation.
I am currently studying at NFTS, Beaconsfield and working as associate to Tom Morris on approaches to staging large scale orchestral works.
I was the resident director at the National Theatre new work department in 2017. I was nominated for the Stage Debut 'Best Director' award in 2020. I ran the Leicester Curve Musical Theatre young company from 2018-2022. I also work with NYMT on large scale projects including a fully BSL inclusive version of Menken & Schwartz THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME (Manchester Cathedral - OFFcomm award winner 2021)
I was the resident director on Andrew Lloyd Webber's BAD CINDERELLA.
I have assisted Simon McBurney, Peter Gill, Melly Still, Braham Murray, Laurent Pelly, and Lonny Price on productions at the National Theatre, Royal Opera House, English National Opera and the Barbican.
