Hello.
I am a London-based theatre practitioner working primarily in the development of new work. I am devoted to developing new plays and theatre experiences that excavate the depths of human relationships and challenge preconceptions. I am enthusiastic to innovate and explore form through my practice, working collaboratively to discover new ways of telling stories and creating great experiences for audiences. I am a passionate and ambitious director with a flair for achieving detail, nuance and aesthetic cohesion in my work.
I have presented work at venues including Theatre503, Oxford Playhouse, HighTide Festival, Finborough Theatre, Old Red Lion, VAULT Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, and have worked extensively as an associate and assistant director both nationally and internationally.
My experience working on new plays extends from developing and directing new plays for production, to script reading, directing readings and supporting devising processes. I have worked on short plays and readings by exciting new playwrights for companies and at venues such as The Bush, Pint-Sized, PLAY, Old Vic Theatre, Chelsea Theatre, Clapham Omnibus and The Pleasance. I have been a script reader for PapaTango, The Bush and Theatre503.
I am as passionate about arts education and the impact of participatory arts as I am about creating new work. I have run youth and community projects for Hoxton Hall, Young Vic and in association with Arts Council England. Other freelance facilitation work includes CSSD and ArtsDepot.
I am a member of StageDirectors UK, AMA and Cultural Governance Alliance.
