Lerato Islam

Director

Pronoun: she/her
I am a freelance Applied Theatre director and facilitator, working in a range of communities across London. I work principally with teenagers from vulnerable communities, such as refugees and asylum seekers, young people with behavioral difficulties, etc. I devise, script and direct plays with my groups, and aspire to make my productions of professional quality, despite their community settings.
