I am a director and theatre maker based in Scotland. I have written and produced several children's productions and ran an inclusive theatre company called Whirlwind Theatre for 15 years in Lancaster. Presently working towards small productions, using puppets, to tour rural Scotland in 2020/21

ALSO: inclusive youth theatre, community out-reach programmes, storytelling workshops, workshops in mainstream & specialist schools, conferences, performed stories for mum & toddler groups, and for the Lancaster Children’s Film Festival at The Dukes Theatre. I was also in charge of children’s licensing and child protection, programming, recruitment & marketing, and all policy making including Health and Safety. The Company structure consisted of Artistic Director, Associate director, production/technical manager, Musical Director, stage manager, up to six professional actors, musicians, childcare supervisor, chaperones, and up to 45 children.

CORPORATE: Murder Mysteries and team building plays, charity and themed events, ‘What is Henry’ –‘Paromyme Street Theatre’, and facilitated workshops. Clients include: Citibank; The Orient Express; British Telecom; Coca Cola; Canada Life; Guinness; Tetley Tea and Todd Cody’s Circus. At venues such HMS Ark Royal; Lincolns Inn; Science museum; Woburn Abbey; Orient Express; Zippo’s circus Big Top and The Post Office Tower.
THEATRE TOURS: Regional theatres nationwide, and festivals including: The National Theatre, Sadler’s Wells, Barbican Theatre, and Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
