Megan Gates

I am a recent graduate from the Royal Holloway for my Theatre Directing MA and have a BA in History from the University of Birmingham. My MA Dissertation focused on the inclusion of Multi-media in the performance practise of Katie Mitchell, Ivo van Hove and The Big Art Group.

My interests lie in writing and directing with innovative uses of technology, staging and movement. I am especially interested in radical retellings of classics, often from the perspective of previously unconsidered or misrepresented characters as well as new works which champion marginalised voices and speak uniquely to our time.
