Júlia Levai
Director
Júlia (she/her) is a theatre director from Budapest based in London.
Her recent directing credits include the ★★★★★ revival of ‘Smoke’ (Southwark Playhouse), and ‘We’ll Be Who We Are’ by Naomi Obeng (VAULT Festival). Her Assistant Director credits include: ‘Hope Has A Happy Meal’ (Royal Court), ‘All’s Well That Ends Well’ (Royal Shakespeare Company), and ‘Nora: A Doll’s House’(Young Vic). She is an MGCFutures bursary recipient. Júlia trained on LAMDA’s MA Directing course and on the Young Vic’s Jerwood Assistant Director Programme. She is a script reader for the NT Studio, Royal Court, the ‘Bruntwood Prize’, and the ‘Women’s Prize For Playwriting’. She is currently working as Staff Director at the National Theatre.
