Cheryl Ndione

Producer

Cheryl Ndione She/Her is Founder and Exec Producer at youth theatre company, Purple Moon Drama. She mounted a sold-out run of Malorie Blackman’s Noughts and Crosses at The Brady Arts Centre in 2016 and Directed a tour of Iman Quershi’s play, Side Effects, in 2017. Iman went on to win the Papatango Writing Prize the following year. In 2018 she produced a school tour of Graveyard Gang written by Associate Director at Soho Theatre, Lakesha Arie-Angelo. The play was seen by over 900 young people. Cheryl’s recent written work includes Tinderella and the Beast at Arcola Theatre and Wilfully Reckless for Lemonhouse Theatre and The Space. She is currently writing a new play as part of the Soho Writer’s Lab. Acting credits include the female lead, ‘Yassa’, in Alassane Sy’s short film ‘Fallou' which won Gold at the Carthage Film Festival in 2017. She toured as ‘Elsie’ in Matilda Ibini’s play, Muscovado, in 2016.
