Seán is a theatre director from Manchester. He was previously Trainee Artistic Director at Sheffield Theatres and Paines Plough, and Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse.

In Autumn 2024, Seán is directing the 20th Anniversary Production of Alan Bennett's THE HISTORY BOYS for Theatre Royal Bath ahead of a U.K Tour.
He has worked extensively as an associate for directors including Nicholas Hytner, Matthew Warchus, Josie Rourke and Polly Findlay, and for theatres including the National Theatre, Old Vic, Bridge Theatre, English Touring Theatre, Edinburgh International Festival, Manchester International Festival, Rose Theatre, Kingston and Park Avenue Armory, New York.
He is a tutor for Open Door, a selector for the National Student Drama Festival, and an Associate of National Youth Theatre.
