Julia Head

Director Facilitator Dramaturg

She/They

My name is Julia Head. I am director of live work from Bristol. I run FullRogue, a theatre company that exists to stress-test new writing and the limits of live performance. I am the Company Director of Young SixSix, an Associate Director of Twisted Theatre and a trustee of MAYK. I received a Leverhulme Arts Scholarship with Bristol Old Vic Ferment 2018-2019 and was awarded the Henry Augustine Forse Award for my contribution to engagement. I am Headlong Origins Director for 2021. I am BAD at sitting still or being quiet, so my practice rigorously investigates live work and the MESS, MISTAKES and SPACE that exist within its walls.
