Eleanna Santorinaiou

Director Writer

My name is Eleanna Santorinaiou (she) I come from Greece and I am a stage and film director based in London. I begun directing children plays in 2008 in Athens. After 2012 I moved in London and started directing short films. I participated in Theatre Workshops at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. In 2019 I directed my first long form play "The Promise - My Poor Marat" at Fournos Theatre in Athens. At the moment I am adapting the book "Canis Major" into a play.

I am interested in stories that focus in human relationships and notions such as loneliness, empathy and self growth. Taking these stories I want to focus on contemporary problems that are raised in our society and how it is influenced from the social media.
