Jazz Martinez-Gamboa

Director

Jazz is a British-Cuban dual nationality theatre director, born in Havana in 1983, graduated the LAMDA MA Directing Course 2015-2016 (with Distinction). In Cuba in 2018 Jazz won the young Best Director Award, Aire Frio, with his all female Richard III . The same play was chosen to participate at The British Week in Havana in 2018, andThe XVII Havana International Theatre Festival.
Jazz has studied Meisner Technique in London and Cuba, and has given acting workshops in the Technique in Havana, Bogotá, Santiago de Chile, as well as the prestigious Cuban International Film School in San Antonio de los Baños.
