Ipek Altinoz

Ipek is the founder of Theatre of Silk. Her journey in the performing arts began at an early age and developed into a lifelong passion for theatre. She holds a BFA in Drama/Theatre Arts and Stagecraft and an MA in Theatre Directing from the University of East London. Her master's dissertation focused on 'How can the form of Burlesque be used to reclaim notions of sexuality and gender?'

With extensive experience in theatre production, direction, and acting, Ipek is dedicated to creating and collaborating on performances that inspire and entertain diverse audiences. Her projects provide a platform for emerging talent, particularly musical theatre students and graduates, offering them a professional space to express themselves, showcase their abilities, and gain valuable professional credits.
