Hallam Breen

Director Playwright

I am a freelance theatre director and playwright.

I am the artistic director of award-winning new writing theatre company, Limerence Productions. Through the company, I have written and directed sold-out productions which have toured internationally.

I am Resident Director at Northern Broadsides Theatre Company.

I was previously Literary Assistant at The Finborough Theatre.

I trained on the MFA Theatre Directing at Birkbeck College, University of London, as well as on Playwright Schemes at both the Bristol Old Vic and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse.

As a facilitator and workshop leader, I have led projects for youth, community and corporate groups, as well as organising and facilitating long-term artist development projects.
