Marisol Spensieri

Theatre maker Director Facilitator

I’m a Latinx migrant theatre artist based in London. My current practice sits in the intersections of theatre, dance and technology. My creative exploration is around questions of social relevance in relation to contemporary capitalism and class, and its implications on identities/experiences. I’m interested in working from the “margins” to highlight alternative perspectives, particularly from the working classes.

I'm a 2023 bursary receipt of Artistic Directors of the Future.

My work has been supported by Arts Council England, Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, Brixton House, Young Vic Theatre, CASA Festival, Projekt Europa and more.

Since 2021, I'm part of the international theatre project INTERACTIONES, which brings together artists from South America with artists from Southern Europe, to create, develop and perform new pieces and dramaturgies.
