Laura Singleton
Director
Laura is a London based director originally from Sheffield. Laura has directed in London, Sheffield, Paris, Mauritius and Rome and is now Head of Acting and Producer at SASA School of Performing Arts.
Her directing has a huge focus on the aesthetic’s of a production, art that empowers both the designer and the performer. Where visual dramaturgy is embedded and embodied into practice by performers, the voice becomes a sonic landscape as opposed to sound being in the background. Developing new ways to share plays, embracing technology, pushing the artistic boundaries, encouraging younger audiences to experience theatre and be visually struck.
