Theatre maker Performer Movement Director Choreographer Writer

I am a Midlands born Latinx Anglo-Bolivian theatre-maker, movement director, choreographer and performer/ actor. I work across theatre, film & tv. My pronouns are she/her.

Since 2018, I have been making the step-change to author and direct my own work as a Lead Artist.

My performances interrogate the ways that women and girls use their bodies, my relationship with the UK, and the complexity of living between cultures. Underpinning all the work is the idea that space is intimately bound up with power.

My practice is interdisciplinary, intersectional, and inclusive, encompassing theatre-making, live art, contemporary dance, folk dance, martial arts, co-creation and the excitement of a sports spectacle.

My practice is interdisciplinary, combining an academic understanding of human behaviour and related contexts, and my interest in the human body as a site for embodied knowledge. My skills encompass theatre-practice, actor- movement, dance, and martial arts (judo).

As an actor/performer, I have worked for companies such as National Theatre, Barbican Centre, Battersea Arts Centre, Bath Theatre Royal, Royal & Derngate, York Theatre Royal, Shakespeare's Globe, HOME Manchester, Southwark Playhouse, Savannah Music Festival, Bervaldhallen (Sweden), & Pearl Theater (NY).

Movement Direction/Choreography: I work across digital, filmed and live performance. My work explores connectivity and the ways in which bodies negotiate each other and the world. I create embodied performances and dynamic movement vocabularies, with a distinctive 'liveness' that has made me a sought after creative. My understanding and skill in staging, movement and visual dramaturgies have seen me create work across a broad spectrum of art form and spaces, ranging from small 360 spaces (such as Paines Plough Roundabout), to large outdoor work at scale, and unique performance spaces (Shakespeare's Globe). I have extensive experience with with new writing, classical texts and in devised contexts, as well as working within non-narrative forms and live art.

I am a skilled facilitator and director, creating spaces for shared experiences with professional and non-professional performers alike. I have built a reputation as an inclusive practitioner, and am an effective communicator of ideas, generously holding space for performers to create their best work.

I am interested in a broad range of work, including new writing, classics and inter disciplinary projects. I am excited by work that interrogates power and the ways in with power is played with and organised in our societies.
