Molly Roberts

Actor Director Producer Theatre Maker Acting Coach

I am an actor, director, producer & acting coach from Newcastle upon Tyne, now based in London.

As a theatre maker, I was selected as one of The Old Vic 12 during its second year, am an experienced live events producer and founder of the multi-award winning new writing company Poleroid Theatre. I have specialised in working collaboratively with new writing, producing R&Ds, championing emerging artists and making theatre accessible for younger audiences. I have curated, directed, developed and produced eclectic theatre productions and events by some of the UK’s most celebrated emerging stage and screenwriting talent.

I also work as a director and have an interest in large scale, multi-disciplinary shows that incorporate multi-rolling, movement, music and puppetry and have an in-depth, practical understanding of the Understudy process.

I am also an experienced acting coach to young people & professionals, offering private tuition online or in-person, alongside teaching and directing at various Drama Schools and Universities across the UK.

I still works professionally as an actor, with credits in the West End, Toronto, with Frantic Assembly and at the Royal Shakespeare Company.

I am a strong communicator and highly organised individual who encourages a positive and supportive working environment for all.
