Grace Francis

Actor Children's Author Writer Creative Entrepreneur

Grace Francis (She/Her) - With a background as an actress, having performed in theatres ranging from Battersea Arts Centre to The National Theatre, appearing on Channel 4 and the BBC. It was a chance experience as an 11-year-old, after a month-long stint at a famous theatre school, which ended prematurely due to a lack of family funds, that became the catalyst to my lifelong passion for making Drama more accessible to children. In 2019 unable to support my family solely from acting work, I founded an award winning company called DramEd Ltd, to enrich children through Drama with the help of performers “from the stage to the classroom”. To date, I have written and published two children’s books and I am writing my 1st Business support book called ‘Performer’s who Pivot’. I am a 2020 Women of the Future award winner exploring playwriting, a journey encouraged after winning a Tangle Space commission in 2024.
