I am a White/Asian director from South London who has a passion for work that explores political and social issues. I want to create theatre that is for everyone and elevates the unheard voices and stories in our society.
I am an Associate Director and co-founder of Hidden Track Theatre (CIC), an interactive gaming theatre company. I directed Hidden Track’s multi-award-winning show ‘Standard:Elite’ which has been awarded 7 5* reviews and won best new writing (Greater Manchester Fringe) and Best Newcomer (Brighton Fringe) and toured the UK, including a full run at the Ed Fringe.
In 2019 we were Resident Artists at Oxford Playhouse & won the headline commission in The Albany REBELS Season for our play on tribalism & nationalism ‘Drawing the Line’ (4* Everything Theatre, 4.5* Soaked in Dreams), featured in new book ‘Play & Politics’ (Dr Tom Drayton). In 2020, we pivoted our work to share interactive political stories online. We were commissioned by HOME & Harrogate Theatres for an online adventure about systemic change.
Currently working on various new writing projects including the Cost of Everything which will be touring in Autumn 2023
