Ashley Cook

Producer Actor

I founded Troupe in 2013 which aims to present the boldest new writing and the bravest rediscoveries. I won the Stage One Bursary Award in 2015, won an inaugural MGCfutures Bursary Award in 2016 and received Stage One Small Scale Commercial Investment in 2022. Troupe’s latest production was a new adaptation of Christopher Isherwood's masterpiece 'A Single Man', adapted by Simon Reade at the Park Theatre. Other recent work includes the world premiere of 'The Sweet Science of Bruising' by Joy Wilkinson, which transferred to Wilton’s Music Hall in June 2019 after a sold-out run at Southwark Playhouse, the UK premiere of 'Rasheeda Speaking' (Trafalgar Studios), 'Dear Brutus' (Southwark Playhouse) and 'The Cardinal' (Southwark Playhouse).
