Alex Knott

I am a South London based, Off West End Award winning theatre maker who works as a writer, director and creative producer. My focus is on combining styles and techniques to unlock the truest potential of the text, often with a highly collaborative approach, with a focus on reimagining classic texts and devising new work that reflects how we live now.

I have written and directed productions at the Bristol Old Vic, The Barn Theatre, Theatre Royal Stratford East, 53Two Manchester, the Underbelly Edinburgh, the Old Red Lion Theatre (as Artistic Director) and numerous venues across London. I teach Acting and Writing at Italia Conti and Central Film School, and I am Producer of the Clapham Fringe Festival and The Bread & Roses Theatre.
