Catherine Butler

Theatre Director Movement Director Theatre-Maker Performer

I am a movement director, theatre-maker, and performer. I am passionate about devising new work and physical theatre. I often stage work in non-traditional spaces and try to involve the audience as much as possible.

I'm interested in socially engaged work that explores how communities and stories can connect, empower or inspire change. I believe the process and the people involved are as important as the performance and why care and collaboration are central to my approach.
