I am an early-career creative working in both Manchester and London. I perform, create and direct theatre as well as producing and managing events.
I co-founded So La Flair, a self-made, female-led company of early-career artists based in Manchester. We produce our own theatre, cabaret and immersive club nights. In the last 18 months, I’ve created, directed and produced multiple productions and projects whilst managing teams of early-career artists to establish So La Flair alongside producing projects for Walk the Plank.
I am interested in working on theatre that tells important stories centred by truth, creating work that is helpful in evoking a feeling and harnesses a magic connectivity within it's audiences'.
As a theatre director, the feeling and political intent of a production has to be interwoven into the process of its creation and present in how I run a rehearsal room. I like making work that is political and provocative, with silliness, imagination and a playful practice and dancing within that dichotomy as a theatre director. I like to make events that are transportive and full of feeling.
I am equal parts glitter and grit and I make work that is full of joy, heart, gut, soul and Rock and Roll.
