Allegra Marland

I am an actor and theatre maker passionate about making work involving women's/female identifying stories, with collaboration at the centre of each project.

I am currently curating a production of short works with several New York Playwrights including John Shanley and Darcy Fowler.

I am very interested in improvisation in theatre and on screen and have just made my first film, which was shot live over the course of one night involving 28 actors all improvising. Developing these characters with each actor was hugely exciting and empowering.

I have loved the Young Vic for many years and it would be a dream to work more closely with you. Your productions and programming is a huge source of inspiration for me.
