Anastazie Toros

Director

My name is Anastazie Toros and I come from Ukraine. I am a visual artist, theatre and performance maker, who has studied and worked in Ukraine, Czech Republic, the UK, Russia and Georgia.
I position myself as a transnational female artist.

The current Russian-Ukrainian War cannot leave any Ukrainian citizen silent. My work so far has always had Ukraine as its centre.
My directing ethos is always a sharing process, which enables actors and participants to be heard and to contribute to the creative process.
I am keen to bring Ukrainian stories to English-speaking audience.
