Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia but I've been living in London for the last 6 years.
I graduated from 5 years' Acting/Directing course at the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts, and have been working in Film and TV production for over 15 years now in different languages both here in the UK and abroad.
I specialise in Ofcom compliance as I have viewed, edited and signed for broadcast over 2,500 hours of screen material during my time at Channel 5 (ViacomCBS).
Being an immigrant myself, I often explore the Immigration theme in my writing.
Credits
2021 Present Continuous (Theatre Play), Is based on my own experience being married to a narcissist. It's a drama that focusing on the dynamics of an abusive relationship between a Spanish man and an Eastern European woman explores themes of modern slavery, loneliness, and social injustice towards 'other white' EE minorities in UK.
since 2018 I perform my stand-up comedy under assumed alter ego of Lady Falconhunter, an undercover Russian spy and an ex-wife of the Lord Falconhunter. To make matters worse, aka funnier, a self-centred immigrant actress who’s struggling to make her living in the UK due to being a non-native English speaker and having an accent, she had just been passed up for the lead role in the new Paddington film.
Using humour as remedy, I discuss my experiences as a Russian living in the UK and play with common clichés about Russians. Most importantly making fun of myself.
