Francesca Hsieh
Director
Theatre Maker
She/her. I'm a director and theatre maker interested in work that is joyful, wacky, and political. I believe that all art has a responsibility to advance justice. I am originally from the states and am especially interested in global majority and migrant stories. I love working on new work or retellings of classic stories, as well as devised and physical theatre. My practice is very influenced by music and aural storytelling, as well as intimacy and consent based practices. I am also a teacher and a facilitator and working with young people and within communities is vital to my work.
